MR. RIZALINO D. RIVERA
Undersecretary for Regional Operations
Known as a change and organizational development expert, Mr. Rivera served as consultant to various local and multinational corporations. Before joining the Luistro team, he was consultant to Change Consultants, Inc. (CCI) that he founded in 1993 and Vice President for Organizational Development and Human Resources for the Cyan Group which is involved in ICT and related businesses.
Rivera's expertise is in leadership coaching and development, strategy formulation, and leading change which help different organizations become more efficient, effective, and competitive in a rapidly changing environment. He was also involved in a community-based social business enterprise called Rags2Riches (R2R) which has won several international awards.
Some of the corporations he has helped are Splash Corporation, the Cojuangco Group, PLDT, Globe, Jollibee Foods Corp., Nestle Philippines, Wyeth Philippines, Pfizer Philippines, and many others. He was also a consultant for government institutions like the Bureau of Internal Revenue, the National Anti-Poverty Commission, the USAID GOLD Project for Local Government Units, the Philippine Charities Sweepstakes Office, and Non-Government Organizations like Saligan, Workers' College, Emmaus Center, etc.
For 15 years, Mr. Rivera served as faculty for all human resource-related subjects at the Ateneo Graduate School and was guest lecturer on organizational change at the Asian Institute of Management for three years.
From 205-2008, Rivera was the Senior Vice-President for Shared Services for Pioneer Insurance Group. In this position, he was responsible for Marketing, IT, OD and HR, Administrative Services, Finance, and Business Development both for Pioneer Life and Pioneer Non-Life. One of his key achievements was to link Pioneer with OFW communities and their families as well as Micro-Finance institutions which enabled Pioneer to tailor fit insurance products for these markets.
Undersecretary Rivera's expertise perfectly fits into the challenges he will face as the man at the helm of DepEd's Regional Operations.
